Eric is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Mellem Legacy Partners. Eric is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm's investment activities

Prior to co-founding Mellem Legacy Partners in 2023, Eric spent over 20 years advising, investing in, or lending to public, founder-owned and private equity-owned companies in a variety of sectors including multi-site healthcare services, business services, technology, software, real estate, and gaming sectors among others

Eric was most recently an Operating Advisor to BC Partners Credit, the $7.5 billion private credit arm of BC Partners. Previously, Eric was a Managing Director at both First Eagle Alternative Credit and THL Credit. Prior to THL Credit, Eric was a founding member of the team that managed the Credit Suisse Park View BDC and served in various capacities in investment banking and asset management at Credit Suisse from 2010 to 2017. Eric began his investment banking career at UBS Investment Bank as an Associate Director in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance Group in Los Angeles alongside his partner Ko

Eric holds an MBA, with honors, from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from Columbia University
